NOKTA MAGNETAR 9000 - THE ALL-IN-ONE GOLD DETECTOR WITH THE POWER FOR DEEP GOLD & PRECISION FOR SMALL FLAKES
Every gold prospector knows the usual compromise in the field. High-powered Pulse Induction detectors can reach deep targets but often struggle with tiny flakes and small nuggets. On the other hand, sensitive VLF machines are excellent on micro gold yet lose performance in heavily mineralized ground and lack serious depth. The Nokta Magnetar 9000 was designed to eliminate that trade-off completely.
Built as an advanced all-in-one Pulse Induction gold detector, the Magnetar 9000 combines impressive depth, sharp sensitivity to small gold, and stable operation in difficult soil conditions. From old worked-out patches to fresh goldfields filled with ironstone and mineralization, this detector is engineered to perform where many others begin to fail.

Engineered for deep gold, small gold, and the toughest ground
The Magnetar 9000 is purpose-built for demanding gold hunting environments. Whether you are searching dry creek beds, chasing nuggets after heavy rain, or working highly mineralized red dirt, the detector maintains smooth and reliable performance. Nokta developed its advanced PI platform specifically for goldfield conditions where hot rocks, magnetic ground, and saline soil can create constant instability for standard detectors.

One of the strongest advantages of the Magnetar 9000 is its clean and stable target response. Signals remain clear and consistent without excessive chatter or false feedback. Instead of wasting time investigating noisy ground signals, you can focus on identifying genuine gold targets more efficiently.

Its lightweight carbon fiber shaft and balanced design also make long detecting sessions far more comfortable. With the 11-inch coil attached, the detector weighs approximately 2.4 kg including the battery, while the larger 14.5-inch coil setup weighs around 2.8 kg. That balance between power and comfort is impressive for a professional-grade Pulse Induction detector.
Dual-Receiver Coil (DRC) Technology
What truly separates the Magnetar 9000 from conventional PI detectors is Nokta’s Dual-Receiver Coil technology. Most Pulse Induction detectors rely on a single receiver system, forcing users to choose between maximum depth or higher sensitivity to smaller gold.
The Magnetar’s DRC system integrates two receivers inside one waterproof coil housing. One receiver is optimized for locating larger, deeper nuggets, while the second focuses on small sub-gram gold targets. This allows the detector to maintain impressive depth while still responding to tiny flakes and fine gold pieces.
Instead of constantly switching coils or carrying multiple detectors into the field, prospectors can cover a wider range of target sizes using a single machine.
Advanced Pulse Induction Performance
Pulse Induction technology remains the preferred choice for serious gold prospecting because it handles mineralized ground far better than traditional VLF detectors. The Magnetar 9000 builds on this proven technology with advanced filtering systems, refined timings, and automatic noise cancellation for improved stability.
In real-world conditions, this translates into smoother operation across black sand, ironstone-rich terrain, salty soils, and difficult mineralized ground. Even in harsh environments where many detectors become unstable, the Magnetar 9000 maintains reliable target identification and depth performance.
Easy and Expert Modes
Nokta designed the Magnetar 9000 to work for both beginners and experienced prospectors. Easy Mode allows users to start detecting quickly with factory-optimized settings that handle most ground conditions automatically. New PI users can power on the detector and begin searching with minimal adjustments.

For advanced users, Expert Mode unlocks deeper control over settings such as sensitivity, threshold, audio response, and ground balance. This flexibility allows experienced hunters to fine-tune the detector for specific soil conditions, target types, and hunting styles
Built for the Harshest Field Conditions
Goldfields are rarely forgiving environments, and the Magnetar 9000 is built to handle demanding conditions. The detector carries an IP68 waterproof rating and can be submerged up to 3 meters (10 feet), making it suitable for shallow water hunting, wet creek beds, and heavy rain.

Its telescopic carbon fiber shaft collapses down to 72 cm for easy transport and extends to 150 cm for comfortable use by taller operators. The detector also features a full-color backlit display, illuminated control keys, vibration feedback, and a built-in flashlight for low-light conditions.
Dust, sand, and dirt are kept out of the housing, helping maintain reliable operation in rugged environments.
Wireless Audio Freedom
The Magnetar 9000 includes built-in Bluetooth connectivity and comes supplied with Nokta low-latency wireless headphones for cable-free detecting. Wireless audio improves movement while reducing the hassle of snagged cords during long hunts.
Users who prefer traditional audio setups can also connect wired headphones through the 6.3 mm headphone port. A built-in loudspeaker is included as well, offering additional flexibility when detecting with partners or in open areas.

Long Battery Life and Future-Proof Firmware
Nokta includes two rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs with the Magnetar 9000, each capable of delivering up to 10 hours of operating time. With both batteries available, users can comfortably handle extended weekend hunts without worrying about charging.
The package also includes multiple charging options, including an AC charger with international adapters, a 12V vehicle charger, and a battery clamp charging cable for off-grid use.
Firmware updates can be installed through USB connectivity, allowing Nokta to improve performance and add new features over time.
