Teknetics Delta 4000 Metal Detector

The Teknetics Delta 4000 Metal Detector is a lightweight and versatile detector designed for coin shooting, relic hunting, jewelry hunting, and general treasure hunting. Operating at 7.8 kHz, the Delta 4000 combines simple controls with useful Target-ID, discrimination, and pinpointing features, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced hobbyists.

The Delta 4000 comes equipped with an 8" concentric waterproof search coil, providing a practical balance of ground coverage, target separation, and maneuverability. Its large LCD display provides clear target information, depth readings, and battery status, while the numerical Target-ID system helps you evaluate targets before digging.

At approximately 2.3 lbs, the Delta 4000 is lightweight and comfortable to swing during extended detecting sessions.

Key Features

• 7.8 kHz Operating Frequency – Provides versatile performance for coins, jewelry, relics, and other common metal targets.

• 8" Concentric Waterproof Search Coil – Provides a useful balance of coverage and maneuverability and can be used in wet conditions and shallow water.

• 1–99 Numerical Target-ID – Helps identify the probable conductivity of a detected target before digging.

• 3-Tone Audio ID – Provides different audio responses to help distinguish between target types.

• Discrimination Mode – Allows you to reject unwanted target ranges and focus on targets you want to investigate.

• All-Metal Motion Mode – Provides a broader detection response when you want to search for a wider range of metal targets.

• Adjustable Sensitivity – Allows you to optimize detector performance for different ground conditions and environments.

• Adjustable Discrimination – Gives you additional control over unwanted target responses.

• Push-Button Pinpoint – Helps locate the target more precisely before digging.

• Large LCD Display – Clearly displays Target-ID, estimated target depth, battery information, and detector settings.

• Preset Ground Balance – Provides simple operation without requiring manual ground-balance adjustments.

• Lightweight Design – At approximately 2.3 lbs, the Delta 4000 is easy to handle during longer detecting sessions.

8" Waterproof Search Coil

The Delta 4000's 8" concentric waterproof search coil provides a versatile combination of target coverage and maneuverability.

Its compact size makes it practical for detecting around parks, yards, fields, and other areas where targets may be close together. The waterproof coil can also be used in wet environments and shallow water.

Note: The search coil is waterproof, but the detector control housing should not be submerged.

Numerical Target-ID

The Delta 4000 features a 1–99 numerical Target-ID system that provides additional information about a detected target.

Combined with the detector's 3-tone audio identification, the Target-ID system helps you make a more informed decision about whether a target is worth recovering.

Discrimination & Search Modes

The Delta 4000 provides two primary search modes to accommodate different detecting situations.

Discrimination Mode allows you to filter out selected target ranges and reduce unwanted responses from common metal trash.

All-Metal Motion Mode provides a broader response to metal targets, making it useful when you want to search without rejecting specific target ranges.

Pinpoint Function

The built-in push-button pinpoint mode helps narrow down the target's location after it has been detected.

Pinpointing can reduce unnecessary digging by helping you determine where the target is located within the coil's detection area.

Large LCD Display

The Delta 4000 features a large, easy-to-read LCD screen that provides important information while you're detecting.

The display can show:

• Numerical Target-ID

• Estimated target depth

• Battery status

• Detection settings

• Target information

Lightweight & Comfortable

At approximately 2.3 lbs, the Teknetics Delta 4000 is designed for comfortable handling during longer hunts.

Its lightweight construction makes it easy to swing across parks, fields, yards, beaches, and other detecting locations without excessive fatigue.
