XP ICON-X Metal Detector — More Power. More Control. More Adventure.

The XP ICON-X is the premium version of XP's exciting new ICON range — a fully wireless, multi-frequency metal detector that delivers advanced performance with the same legendary simplicity XP is known for. Designed and manufactured in France, the ICON-X steps up the game with more programs, more frequencies, finer discrimination control, and a premium carbon stem — giving serious detectorists everything they need to hunt smarter and dig deeper.

Built on the same FMF® technology that powers the legendary DEUS II, the ICON-X is the perfect balance between accessible and advanced — ideal for detectorists ready to take their hobby to the next level.

Why the XP ICON-X?

• More Programs, More Control — 6 factory-loaded programs plus 6 user-customizable slots give you complete flexibility across any terrain or hunting style.
• 3 Mono Frequencies — Hunt at 4 kHz, 14 kHz, or 28 kHz in addition to full multi-frequency mode, giving you precise control over target sensitivity.
• 7-Level Reactivity — Finer reactivity adjustment (0–6) for superior separation in heavily mineralized or trash-filled ground.
• Premium Carbon Stem — The S-Telescopic Lite Carbon stem is lighter, stiffer, and more durable — built for serious long-session detecting.
• Ultra-Fine Discrimination — 0.5-point discrimination steps (vs 1-point on ICON) for more precise target identification and fewer missed finds.
• Fully Wireless — XP's ultra-low-latency digital protocol (~4ms, 36 auto channels) keeps coil, remote, and headphones perfectly in sync — no cables, no interference.

Built for Every Terrain

In the Field: 7-level reactivity and ultra-fine discrimination let you pick out valuable targets in even the most challenging, iron-heavy soils with confidence.

On the Beach: Three mono frequencies plus multi-frequency mode give you unmatched adaptability across dry sand, wet sand, and saltwater zones — stable, sharp, and precise.

In Parks & Forests: More program slots and finer control mean you can fine-tune the ICON-X to any site — historical fields, urban parks, or dense forests.
